Oscar showed a uniform collection of well developed, well muscled, riding type foals that are in good rectangular model and that have charm. The head is expressive. The poll is good in length and form. The neck is well formed, well muscled and the neck varies from sufficient to good. The wither is more than sufficient in length and development. The shoulder is generally good in length and more than sufficient in placement. The back is well formed and well muscled. The loins are wide, well muscled and strongly connected. The croup is generally of good length, of good placement, is wide and well muscled. The hamstring has more than sufficient length. The foreleg is correct. Several of the foals have long pasterns. The hindleg is correct. The base is more than sufficient in size and shows quality. The hooves are normal.
The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot has a lot of scope. The foals trot with more than sufficient suppleness and good carriage. In general the foals have a noticeable good use of the foreleg. The foals jump easily into the canter. The canter is big, has good push from behind and good use of the foreleg.
Details: One foal was lame. Two times a curb at the hock was observed. Two foals were not presented in movement.
The quality of the dams varied.

Oscar is a very sturdily developed stallion in good rectangular model. He is a little overbuilt. He has a heavy neck. The wither-shoulder connection is well developed. The back is a little long, but the loins are well connected. The base is well developed.

Oscar comes from an excellent mare line that has produced jumpers such as Interadel and Chanson. Berania produced 6 colts and 3 fillies, including 2 ster stallions and the approved KWPN stallion/Z level dressage horse Kimberley (s Cabochon). Merania produced the Z jumper Dirania (s Nabuur). Merania is the grand dam of the approved Zangersheide stallion/international jumper Interadel (s Landadel), international jumper Chanson (s Nabuur) and ZZ jumper Dornburg (s Nabuur).

Oscar is honest and reliable. He is sufficiently prepared to work and works adequately. The walk is big and has adequate tact. The trot has adequate scope and suppleness. The croup stays a little high and swings a little bit. The canter is big and balanced. The croup is also a little high in the canter, but he closes sufficiently. Oscar has more than enough talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Oscar has an insufficient take-off. He has inadequate technique of the foreleg and not enough bascule. He is not careful and shows inadequate to moderate scope. Oscar shows insufficient to moderate talent and gives his rider a bad feeling.
