Offspring report

Offspring 2000 (foals)
Nobility showed a uniform collection of sufficient to more than sufficiently developed foals. They are sufficient riding type, long-lined, long-legged and they show refinement. The head is generally expressive and sometimes a little long. The poll has good length and shape. The neck has good length but is sometimes a little ewe-necked. Sometimes it is also a little deep from the chest. The muscling varies. The wither is sufficiently developed and long. The shoulder has sufficient length but should have more slope. The back has good length and muscling. The loins have good length and are well connected. The croup has sufficient length but is sometimes a little flat. The tail set is often high. The muscling of the croup is good. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correct but often tied in. The hindleg is generally correct. The base should be more developed. The walk is pure, sufficient in scope but a little stiff. The trot has much scope and the necks are used well. The use of the foreleg is appealing but the foals hold themselves a little in the topline. The hindleg bends sufficiently but should come underneath more. The foals do not jump into the canter easily. The canter has a lot of scope but should have more balance. One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the above picture in regards to conformation and deviates positively in regards to movement.
Veterinary remarks: One foal had a spavin, two foals had a moderate hock.
The quality of the mares was varied.
Shown: 23 (+1) foals out of 97 breedings.
