Offspring report

Offspring 2000 (foals)
Namelus-R showed a collection of moderately uniform, sufficient to more than sufficiently developed foals. The foals are riding type, are in more than sufficient rectangular model and have sufficient appeal. The head is sufficiently expressive and sometimes a bit long. The poll has good length and shape. The neck is generally good in length. In a few cases there is a ewe-neck. The muscling of the neck is generally more than sufficient. The wither has good length and muscling. The loins are repeatedly a bit long but they are sufficiently connected. The croup has good placement and more than sufficient length. The muscling of the croup is more than sufficient. The hamstring has sufficient length. The foreleg is correct. In a number of cases the foals are toed out. The hindleg is long and sickle-hocked. The base varies in circumference and has sufficient quality. The walk is pure and has sufficient scope. The trot is short and moderately powerful. The foals should have more suppleness. The foals jump into the canter easily. The canter has sufficient impulsion but the foreleg stays flat. The foals should rise more in the front. In some cases the regularity leaves something to be desired.
The footing at the inspection site was moderate.
Two foals that were inspected at home fit in with the above picture.
The quality of the mares was sufficient.
Shown: 13 (+2) foals out of 47 breedings.
