Offspring report
Offspring 1999 (foals)
Now or Never M showed a very uniform collection of foals. The development varied from adequate to good. The foals should have a bit longer lines. They are of good riding type and show refinement and charm. The head is expressive and well formed. The sufficiently long poll is well formed. The neck also has sufficient length and is well formed and muscled in the topline. The wither is long and very well developed. The shoulder is long and sloping. The shape and muscling of the back-loin connection is good. The middle should be a tad longer. The croup slopes and has sufficient length. The hamstring is sufficiently long. In general the foreleg is correct but a little fragile and sometimes a bit toed out. The hindleg is a bit straight at times and sometimes the pastern is straight. The base should be more royally developed.
The walk has sufficient scope and regularity. Both the foreleg and the hindleg are used well at the trot. The foals trot lightly and rise well in the front. They should trot a bit more through the body. The foals should also show a bit more suppleness at the canter. The hindleg is used well, quick and with good push from behind. The foreleg remains a little flat.
The general quality of the mares was good.
Shown: 15 out of 46 breedings.
