Offspring report
Offspring 2000 (foals)
The stallion Numero-Uno showed a uniform collection of more than sufficiently to well developed, riding type foals that are in good rectangular model. Most of the foals are long legged and have a lot of appeal. Most of the time the head is well formed and expressive. The poll has good length. The throatlatch should be a little finer. The neck has good length and is well formed. The neck muscling is mostly sufficient. The wither is well developed and long. The shoulder has good length and sufficient placement. The back is well formed and muscled. The loins are a little tight. The muscling is good. The well-muscled croup varies from sloping to slightly flat but it is sufficiently long. The hamstring is sufficiently long. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is long and sickle-hocked. The circumference of the legs is barely sufficient and has a lot of quality. The walk has barely sufficient purity. The scope is sufficient. The trot has a lot of scope plus a lot of suppleness and impulsion. There is a lot of bend in the joints and the foals can do changes well. The canter has much impulsion and sufficient scope. Sometimes the foals stay high in the croup during the trot and the canter.
Veterinary remarks: The hock should be finished better in two of the foals.
The quality of the mares was good.
Shown: 24 foals out of 188 breedings.
