Offspring report
Offspring 1999
Uniform group of foals. The development was more than sufficient to good. The foals are on the forehand. They show breeding and are in sufficient rectangular model. The expressive head is well formed. The throat is a little heavy which makes the head/neck connection a little heavy. The poll has sufficient length. The length of the neck is more than sufficient. The neck is often a little deep and should be carried better; the muscling is sufficient. The wither has good length but should be more developed in height. The shoulder has sufficient length but should slope more. The back/loin is sufficient in placement but the mid section is only moderately muscled and the loins should be better connected. The croup is good in length, placement and muscling. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg often toes out and is sometimes fine and tied in. Seen from the side the foreleg generally looks good. The hindleg is sometimes a bit long and straight. The base should be a little better developed. The walk has sufficient scope but should have more power and the foals should bend more in the hocks. The trot has a lot of scope and the foreleg is used well. The foals carry the neck well but should rise more in the forehand. The hindleg is brought under the body insufficiently, thereby causing a pushing type of moving. The canter is less easy for the foals. They canter with little power, suppleness and carrying power.
The quality of the mares ranged from more than sufficient to good.
Shown: 23 foals out of 92 breedings.
2000
Put on the Watch List because he did not participate in the required stallion competition for his age. This will be in effect until the requirement is fulfilled, which is Z level for 2000/2001.
