Dam Jesprit is a Z-jumper. She produced 5 offspring (5 colts), including Montender and the ZZ-jumper Nieuw Amsterdam (s Amsterdam). Grandmother Esprit produced the Z-jumper Olesprit (s Levantos) and the ZZ-jumpers Konig (s Burggraaf) and L"Esprit (s Grafiet). Great grandmother Vanessa produced the Z-jumper Junir (s Faram) and the Z1-dressage horse Humphry (s Columbus).
Accepted KWPN 2005 (06-06)
Two times a year the KWPN stallion committee evaluates which internationally known stallions will be considered for the status of individually erkende stallion. In order to be considered for this a stallion must expressly have proven himself at the highest levels of international sport, either with their own performance or with that of their offspring, or a combination of the two. Individually erkende stallions to not expressly have to meet the KWPN requirements in regards to wellbeing (radiographs and endoscopy). Offspring of erkende stallions will be registered in the Foalbook.
The 171.0 cm dark bay Montender was very convincing at the Athens Olympic Games with Marco Kutscher. Two clear rounds in the nation"s competition gave the German team the gold medal. Individually Montender earned a bronze medal. Because of these results Montender was in 5th place of the WBFSH rankings. As a young horse Montender was noted for his performance in the competitions for 4- and 5- year old jumpers. After he broke through to international sport higher rankings were earned in World Cup competitions, nations" competitions and championships.
The navicular on the right front is a class 3. The other parts of the radiograph examination met the KWPN criteria.
