The foals by Montecristo formed a sufficiently uniform collection. The foals are well developed and are in good rectangular model. The head is a little long sometimes. The poll has good length. The neck has good length, is set on well and is carried well. The muscling of the topline is more than sufficient. The well-developed wither is long. The shoulder has good length and very good placement. The back has good length and more than sufficient muscling. The loins are a little tight sometimes. The sufficiently long croup should have more slope and the tail set is rather high. The croup is strongly muscled and the hamstring has sufficient length. The generally correct foreleg has good length but is sometimes a little delicate. The hindleg is sometimes a bit long.
The walk has sufficient scope and suppleness. The foals carry themselves well in the trot. Some foals trot well off the ground, with scope and good use of the hindleg. Others should have more scope and suppleness and also better use of the hindleg. The foals generally jump into the canter easily. They have very good balance in the canter and nice rise in the front.
Two foals that were inspected at home fit in with the rest of the picture. A third foal that was inspected at home differed negatively from the others.
The quality of the mares was good.

Honest and reliable. He is very willing to work and he works well. He needs a rider with authority. The walk is big and industrious. The trot is carried with a lot of tact but he should loosen a little more in the topline. The canter is well carried with much tact and very much balance. He is really nice to ride in dressage, he collects easily and carries himself well. He has very much talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good feeling. He jumps with good technique of the foreleg and sufficient take-off but he should bascule more. The scope is more than sufficient. He has sufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider a sufficient feeling. Stall behavior is normal.
