Offspring report
Offspring 1997
This stallion showed a uniform collection of appealing, riding type foals. They are in more than sufficient rectangular model and their development is more than sufficient to good. Some foals should show more reach. The canter is good, the trot should generally show more scope.
The head is expressive. The poll and neck have good length and also the muscling and the form of the neck are good. The wither is more than sufficiently developed. The shoulder has remarkably good length, good placement and muscling. The back/loin formation is a little short but is well muscled and well connected. The croup has very good length and good slope. The croup is wide and well muscled. The hamstring is long. The foreleg is correct, but sometimes a little delicate. The hindleg is generally correct, but sometimes a little straight.
The foals walk big and easily. The trot varies a little. Most foals lack some scope in the trot and this causes the trot to look a little joggy. Some foals trotted well with push from behind and scope. The hindleg is used better in the canter. The foals canter with scope and sufficient push from behind. One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the rest of the picture. The quality of the mares was good.
Shown: 24 (+1) foals out of 151 breedings.
