The foals are moderately to sufficiently developed. They are in good tuig type, have a nice front and show refinement and charm. The foals should show a little more reach. In the trot the foals rise in the forehand and have very good use of the foreleg.
The head is expressive. The poll and neck have good length. The neck is sometimes a little deep from the chest but is well carried and the foals set the neck well in movement. The wither is sufficiently developed. The placement of the shoulder is good, sometimes the shoulder should be a little longer. The back/loin formation is generally well formed with a good connection. The shape of the croup is good but it should be longer. The hamstring is sufficiently developed. The foreleg is long and correct. The hindleg is generally correct.
The walk is active and has sufficient scope. The trot is typical tuig and has good scope. Several of the foals show good suspension. The foals rise in the forehand, the foreleg moves out nicely with good knee action. The use of the hindleg is generally good. Some foals trot with a slow hindleg and did not carry sufficiently. One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the rest of the picture. The quality of the mares was good.
