Offspring report

Offspring 1997
The stallion showed a uniform collection of more than sufficient to well developed foals. They are of riding type, stand in good rectangular model and have sufficient refinement. The foals move with good push from behind, the scope is somewhat limited.
The head has good form, the foals have length in the poll and the neck is well carried. The wither is well developed and is nice and long. The shoulder is sufficient in length and placement. The back has good length and the muscling is more than sufficient. The loins are well connected. The croup has good form and muscling but should be longer. Buttock and gaskin are well muscled. The stance of the foreleg varies. Once in a while the foreleg is a little back at the knee or tied in. Some foals are a little toed out. The hindleg is correct.
The walk is limited in scope and the foals should show a little more suppleness. They push off well in the trot and have sufficient balance. They have sufficient scope in the trot and are a little flat in the foreleg. The foals jump into the canter easily. They also show good push from behind in the canter. The quality of the mares was more than sufficient to good.
Shown 14 foals out of 27 breedings.

Performance test report

Kroongraaf is in a good rectangular model. The withers are nice and long, the loins are a little tight. The stance of both the front and the back legs is rather straight.
Performance Ermelo 1996 (tied for 22nd in dressage)
Kroongraaf is an honest stallion with a lot of temperament who seems a little overzealous. He is very willing to work. The basic gaits are sufficiently powerful but should be a little bigger. The stallion tenses quickly in dressage and is difficult to ride through the body. Kroongraaf does not have much talent for dressage and gives his rider a moderate feeling. He also tenses quickly while jumping. In the beginning of the test it was difficult to get him to the jump. This improved greatly during the test. Kroongraaf leaves the ground quickly, he is careful, but he should bascule more. The stallion seems to have more than sufficient ability. As a jumper he has more than enough talent and gives his rider a good feeling. Stall behavior is normal.
On 4/09 he was treated for colic.
