A number of Kannan sons and daughters are already competing in grand prix show jumping, such as A Big Boy (ds.Cash), Bridgit (ds.Melchior x), Sorbette (ds.Jasper), Sybalia (ds.Hattrick), and Alana (ds.Polidiktus van de Helle). Incidentally, Supardie, the dam of the KWPN-approved stallion Bacardi VDL, is a Kannan daughter.
Kannan's jumping index is 148 with 72% reliability. His breeding values are 99 for conformation, 101 for movement, and 109 for free-jumping.
In 2010, at age 18, Kannan underwent a radiographic examination. Due to the presence of osteochondrosis in the right and left knee, he was deemed class C. In addition, he was deemed class 3 due to arthritis in the left front fetlock. Results of the remaining radiographs meet KWPN requirements.
