Offspring report

Offspring 1996 (foals)
The foals formed a uniform collection. They are barely sufficiently developed. Several foals are short legged. They are of sufficient riding type but should have longer lines. The head is a little long but it is expressive. The foals have sufficient length in the poll. The sufficiently long neck is heavily muscled underneath. Some foals even have a ewe-neck. The muscling of the topline is sufficient. The wither is flat. Length and positioning of the shoulder are more than sufficient. The shoulder is well muscled. The back and loins are well formed and well muscled. The croup has good shape and good muscling. The length of the croup is more than sufficient. The foreleg is a little fragile and tied in. The hindleg is uniformly sickle-hocked. The walk has sufficient scope and suppleness. The foals trot easily with good self-carriage. The hindleg bends well but some foals should bring it further underneath the body. The freedom of the shoulder is slightly limited and the foreleg stays a little flat. One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the picture of the collection. The mares were generally of good quality.
Shown: 17 (+1) foals out of 61 breedings.
