Offspring report

Offspring 1996 (foals)
Jumbo Jet showed a uniform collection of well-developed, generously lined foals. They are more than sufficient riding type, long lined and have good breadth and depth. The head is a little long but sufficiently expressive. The foals have good length in the poll and a lot of neck. The neck is long and well vaulted in the topline. The wither is rather short. The shoulder is a little straight but has more than sufficient length and muscling. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are wide and well muscled. The tail set is high and the croup should be longer. The croup, buttock and gaskin are all well muscled. The foreleg is characterized by a well-developed knee but the cannon is a little fine. Some foals are toed out. The stance of the hindleg varies. The hock should be finished more tightly. The foals walk with sufficient scope and suppleness. There is good carriage in the trot. The hindleg bends actively but should be brought underneath further. The foals should show more scope, use of the back, and freedom in the shoulder
The mares ranged from moderate to sufficient quality.
Shown: 15 foals out of 40 breedings.

Performance test report

Very well developed, riding type stallion. The base is heavy. The head is large but does have expression.
Performance 1994
Honest, reliable, and uncomplicated. He is sufficiently willing to work and works well. The walk should have more scope and suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope but should be more carried. It also lacks suppleness and tact. The canter has sufficient scope and carriage but the stallion has trouble with balance. He has little talent for dressage and gives his rider a moderate feeling.
At the beginning of the test he showed little trust when jumping. This improved strongly during the test. He is nice to ride and can shorten his stride in the canter. He is careful, has more than sufficient take-off, good bascule and a lot of scope. He has a lot of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling. Stall and handling behavior is normal.
No veterinary remarks.
