Offspring report

Offspring 1995 (foals)
The foals formed a uniform collection. They are sufficiently developed and in sufficient tuig type but appear short-coupled. Joviaal passes on the rounding of the neck and his croup but his influence is at the cost of the long lines. The head is well formed. The neck is round and heavily muscled with a good poll. The length of the neck is sufficient. A couple of times a ewe-neck was observed. The wither is little developed. The shoulder has sufficient length but it should repeatedly have more slope. The back is muscled well. The loins are also muscled well. The shape and muscling of the croup are good but it should be longer. The hamstring is short, the gaskin is sufficiently muscled. The fore- and hindleg are positioned well. The base has good quality. The walk is stiff and short. The foals all carry the neck well in the trot and they make front. The hindleg does not carry enough and the foreleg is limited in use. Some foals did show good tuig type movement.
The mares varied in quality.
No veterinary remarks
In short: uniform collection of sufficiently developed foals that should have longer lines. The foals trot with front but should carry more and the foreleg should be used better.
Shown: 15 foals out of 42 breedings.
