Offspring 1994 (foals)
The stallion showed a uniform collection of foals. The development varied from moderate to more than sufficient. The type varied from sufficient to good. Some foals lacked long lines. The head is nice and expressive. The neck has good length and muscling with an obviously nice round topline. The wither has sufficient length and development. The long shoulder is sometimes a little straight. The back is good. The well-muscled loins are nicely connected. The foreleg is correct. The foreleg of the picked foals was sometimes a little straight. The hindleg is correct. The base has sufficient development and has good quality.
The walk is stiff and should have more scope. The foals carry themselves well in the trot and are come off the ground well. The use of the hindleg is strong, the foreleg should have more reach. A few of the selected foals trotted really well.
The mares were of moderate quality.
No veterinary remarks.

Good riding type stallion with good proportions and a good croup.
Performance Ermelo 1993 (tied for 9th place)
Ircolando is an honest but sensitive stallion. At the beginning of the test he was quick to tense up but this improved as time went by. The stallion has more than sufficient willingness to work and is good to ride. The walk is big and powerful. The trot has sufficient scope but should have more power and tact. The canter is big and elastic but it should be carried more. Ircolando has sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a sufficient feeling.
Ircolando rises well in the jump, he has good technique of the foreleg and a good bascule. He should finish the jump better from behind. He shows more than sufficient scope. The stallion has more than sufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling. Stall and handling behavior is normal.
On March 16 the stallion cast himself and damaged his heels. He was treated and recovered.
