Offspring report

Offspring 1994 (foals)
The stallion showed a uniform collection of insufficient to sufficiently developed foals. They were sufficient tuig type, however they are often short coupled and old fashioned. The head is long, should be finished more and should have more expression. The neck has sufficient length, has a good topline but is often wide at the base. The wither has sufficient length but has to develop more. The shoulder has sufficient length but should have more slope. The back is well muscled, sometimes a little hollow and goes into wide, strongly muscled loins. The croup has good shape, is wide and muscled but should be longer. The foreleg is correct but in several cases is fairly tight. The hindleg is correct. The base is sufficiently developed.
The walk is characterized by stiff use of the hindleg and little freedom from the shoulder, which causes limited scope. The foals have good posture in the trot. The foreleg lifts well but should move out more. The hindleg does bend but should be brought further forward. The trot does not rise much in the forehand and lacks suspension. The following remark must be made: the footing of the keuring lane was very bad.
One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the above picture but is irregular in the walk and the trot.
The mares ranged from very simple to good.
No veterinary remarks.
In short: barely sufficiently developed foals that do not have the long lines, do not have suspension in the trot and do not have a hindleg that carries.
Shown: 15 foals out of 31 breedings.
