Offspring report
Offspring 1996 (foals)
Polydox was accepted into the studbook during the summer of 1995 because of his accomplishments as a jumper and because of his interesting pedigree. There was a considerable difference between the picked and the selected foals. The first group was comprised of sufficiently large foals that were of insufficient rectangular model, little riding type and with little refinement. The selected foals stood more in rectangular model and had more than sufficient refinement. The picked foals lacked expression in the head. The selected foals had well formed heads. In the first group the neck was rather short, a little heavy and wide at the chest, it was rounded but lacked development in the poll. The selected foals had more length in the neck but it was again wide. The wither is short and flat. The long shoulder has sufficient slope. The back/loin formation is short and sometimes a little weak. The strongly sloping, well-muscled croup is a little short. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is well developed and correct. Some foals have straight hooves. The hindleg mostly has a small angle; once in a while it is a little long, sometimes with weak pasterns. The foals have strong legs. The foals appear a little stiff in the trot. They have little bend through the hock. The picked foals trotted with sufficient use of the forehand but with little suppleness. They had difficulties with changes and lacked carrying power and balance. The selected foals showed more rise in the front as well as scope and suppleness. They trotted with a more active hindleg and with good freedom in the shoulder. The mares were averagely good.
Shown: 23 foals out of 115 breedings.

Performance test report
Well developed, sufficient riding type, well muscled and strongly built stallion that could have a little bit longer lines and even more length in the neck.
Bloodlines
Polydox was presented in 1993 at the KWPN Stallion Show. At that time he was selected for the 2nd viewing and was then presented in sport. In jumping he reached - for his age group - the highest imaginable classification. The pedigree is totally jumping oriented. The stallions Polydor, Paradox I and Aarstein with their offspring all three have lifetime winnings of more than 1 million DM. With 134 points Polydor is in 21st place (of 775 sires). He is in third place (of 1,166 sires) on the jumping index with 168 points. Paradox I is in 13th place with 153 points.
Performance 1995 (tied for 2nd)
Honest, brave and steady. He has a good work ethic and he works well. The walk is sufficient in scope but should be more active. The trot should have more power and is a little on the forehand. The canter is effective with sufficient scope and power. He works well in dressage but is a little on the forehand. He has sufficient talent for dressage but gives his rider a moderate feeling. He jumps with more than sufficient take-off, good technique and bascule, a lot of scope and he is careful. He is nice to ride and gives the impression that he does not have to exert himself much during jumping. He has a great deal of talent for jumping and gives his rider a very good feeling. Stall behavior is normal.
