Offspring 1995 (foals)
This Holstein bred stallion showed foals that were barely sufficient to sufficient in development. The foals are of sufficient riding type and show refinement. The head has good shape and expression. The neck has good shape and length. The wither is sufficiently developed with good length. The shoulder has good length and sufficient slope. The topline is a little weak but the loins are well connected. The croup has good shape, good muscling but should be longer. The foreleg is correct but sometimes a little delicate and straight. Sometimes the hindleg is long and sometimes sickle-hocked. The walk has sufficient scope. The foals have good balance in the trot and show suppleness and a certain ease. The hindleg is a little slow. One foal that was inspected at home fit in with the above picture.
On the whole the mares were rather small and/or short-coupled, but they did have refinement and quality.
In short: refined foals with more than sufficient riding type and sufficient development. They have suppleness in the trot. The hindleg should come underneath with more power.
