Offspring report
Offspring 1994 (foals)
The foals formed a uniform, well-developed group of riding type foals. They have long lines and sufficient refinement. The head is well formed. The neck is long and mainly well muscled. It is a little deep from the chest. The sufficiently developed wither generally has good length. The shoulder is long, and in a number of cases is a little straight. The back is a little weak. The loin should be better connected. The form, length and muscling of the croup are all good. The buttock and the gaskin are well muscled. In some cases the foreleg is a little straight. The hindleg is long and does not have much angle. On the whole, the base is well developed. Some foals are a little tied in under the knee.
The walk is sufficient. The trot is easy and has good scope. The hindleg should be brought underneath more resolutely. The selected foals carried themselves more.
A foal that was inspected at home differed from the others in a negative way.
The quality of the mares was good.
No veterinary remarks.
In short: a uniform group of well developed, riding-type, long-lined foals that move with sufficient scope.
Shown: 15 foals out of 179 breedings.
