Offspring report
Offspring 1994 (foals)
The foals formed a very uniform group of well-developed foals. The strong, sufficiently long-lined foals were a little short coupled. They are of riding type and show refinement. The pretty and expressive head has an alert eye. The neck has good length and muscling and it is carried well while moving. The wither is long and sufficiently developed. The sloping shoulder is sufficiently long. The back is good. The well-muscled loin is well connected. The somewhat round-muscled croup has sufficient length and slope. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correct. The cannon is a little fine in a few cases. The hindleg is a little straight.
The walk is a little short. Use of the hock is moderate in the walk. In the trot the use of the hock and the knee are barely good enough. The foals show power, rise and scope in the trot. They should loosen up more through the topline. A few selected foals trot with extra suppleness.
The mares were of average quality.
No veterinary remarks
In short: a uniform group of riding type, sufficiently developed foals with strong movement.
Shown: 28 foals out of 102 breedings.
