Offspring report

Offspring 1995 (foals)
There was a clear difference in type between the picked and the selected foals by Lux-Z. The development varies from sufficient to good. The foals are sufficient to more than sufficient riding type and have refinement. The head is well formed and expressive. The picked foals had a slightly forward, poorly muscled neck. The selected foals had a well-muscled neck with a nice poll. The wither has sufficient length and development. The shoulder has sufficient length but should have more slope. The length of the back is good. The picked foals should have more muscling in the topline. The back/loin formation of the selected foals is well muscled. The shape of the croup is good, the length is generally also good and the muscling is sufficient. The picked foals often have a poorly muscled gaskin. The picked foals have a well-muscled hindquarter. The correct foreleg is delicate and tied in. The hindleg is straight in a number of cases. The hock is well developed. The walk has limited scope. In the trot the foals have limited scope and rise in the front. The hindleg is often slow. The foals jump easily into the canter. One foal that was inspected at home differed positively in regards to movement from the others. The mares were of very good quality.
In short: a collection of refined foals that vary in regards to development and type. The foreleg is delicate. They move easily but lack scope, power and rise in the front.
Shown: 30 foals out of 248 breedings.

Performance test report

Selected Stallion Show 1994
This interestingly bred Holsteiner stallion completed a performance test in Germany with the extraordinary scores of an 8 and a 9 for jumping. He was started in competition and completed 28 clean rounds out of 28 starts. Some of his offspring were seen. They appear to vary in type, especially in regards to the shape and length of the neck.
Otherwise there are no conformational remarks. The trot always appears big and easy with a lot of impulsion. The canter generally is also good. Four offspring that had their free jumping evaluated showed a lot of talent.
Performance 1994 (short test)
Honest, obedient stallion. The walk has good scope but should be more powerful. The trot has sufficient scope, power and tact. The canter is powerful but should be more carried. He is a little stiff and heavy in dressage but he works sufficiently. In jumping he shows very much take-off, good use of the back, seems careful and has a lot of scope. Stall behavior is normal.
