Offspring report
Offspring 1994 (foals)
This stallion showed a uniform collection of generously developed, long-lined foals. They are riding type and have sufficient refinement. The head is long but does have a lot of expression. The neck has good length but it sometimes a little forward and it should be rounder in the topline. The selected foals have a good topline. The neck is carried well. The wither is sufficient in length and development. Length and placement of the shoulder are good. The back is good. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup should have more length and slope. The selected foals have a better croup. The buttock is muscled well and the gaskin is sufficient. The stance of the foreleg is good. The hindleg is long and often sickle-hocked. The base is well developed.
The walk has sufficient scope. On the average the trot is big. The hindleg is slow, it should be brought underneath the body more resolutely. In three cases there was insufficient tact and regularity in the use of the hindleg. A foal that was inspected at home fit in with the rest of the picture. The foals were with good mares.
No veterinary remarks.
In short: generously developed, riding type foals with a remark made on the use of the hindleg.
Shown: 23 foals out of 121 breedings.
1998
Glennridge"s approval was maintained on the basis of his 3-year old offspring.
