Offspring report

Offspring 1993
This stallion showed a uniform collection of well-developed foals that are long-lined and of the riding type. The head is well shaped and has good expression. The neck has sufficient length, but is sometimes set on a little deep. On the whole the neck could be a little longer. The wither is well developed and long. The shoulder always has good length, but could sometimes have a little more slope. The back is well muscled; the loin is well connected. The croup is well shaped and has sufficient length and muscling. Both the fore and hind legs are well positioned and have well finished joints.
The walk has sufficient scope. The trot also has sufficient scope. The use of the foreleg is noticeably good, the hindleg could go under the body with a little more power and there could be a little more suppleness.
The selected foals showed more neck, a good croup length and more suppleness in the trot. Some of the foals in this group were excellent movers.
The veterinary remarks were about two occurrences in which irregular movement in the hindquarter was noticed.
The quality of the mares varied from good to great.
In short: well developed riding type foals that trot sufficiently; the hindleg should go under the body with more power, the foreleg steps out very well.
Shown: 31 foals out of 332 breedings.

The canter is well carried, elastic and big. He has a good take-off in jumping, good leg technique, good bascule, a lot of scope; he pays attention to the jump. He does very well in cross-country. He makes strong demands on his rider in order to get good results. He gives an average feeling in dressage and a very good feeling in jumping. Work is easy for him and he is very willing to work. He has sufficient talent for dressage and a great deal of talent for jumping. He was in good condition upon arrival and remained that way. Good stall behavior.
