Offspring 1993 (foals)
This stallion showed a collection of well-developed foals. They are especially the front, very tuig type and have sufficient refinement and quality. The head has good form and shows expression. The poll and neck both have good length. The neck is carried well and has a good topline. The wither varies, from well developed to flat. The shoulder also varies, from good to short and straight. The back has the tendency to be weak but the loin is well connected and well muscled. The croup has sufficient length and is also well muscled. The foreleg is mostly correct. The hindleg is often a little long. The joints are well developed and the legs have sufficient quality.
The foals vary in the walk, from sufficient scope to short and stiff. The trot also varies: part of the foals trot well with good use of both the fore- and the hindleg, while another part of the foals show fairly little knee action. The hindleg should also come underneath with more power. The foals mostly have a pretty front while moving. The picked foals were generally better movers while the selected foals showed a better type.
One foal had a hock that is a bit different.
Ganges served mares of average quality and it must be said that the stallion improves on simple mares.
In short: well developed, especially in the front, tuig type foals that vary somewhat in the trot.
