Offspring report

Offspring 2000 (foals)
The stallion Ginus showed a sufficiently uniform collection of insufficient to moderately developed, short legged foals. The foals are in more than sufficient rectangular model, are insufficient to moderate riding type and should have more appeal.
The head is plain and the jaw has the tendency to be coarse. The poll has sufficient length. The throatlatch is often heavy. The neck has sufficient length, it comes deep from the chest and is horizontal. The shape of the neck is sufficient, the muscling is good. The wither is moderately to sufficiently developed and has sufficient length. The shoulder has sufficient length but is straight. The back has good length and muscling. The back is often weak. The loins are generally long and sufficiently connected. The croup slopes, is well muscled but should be longer. The hamstring is sufficiently long. The foreleg is correct. The pastern is generally weak. The hindleg is generally correct. The base is sufficient in substance and quality. The walk is pure and has a big stride. The foals hollow the back in the trot and the hindleg does not carry sufficiently. The foals easily jump into the canter. The canter has scope.
No veterinary remarks.
The mares with the foals were of moderate quality.
Shown: 10 foals out of 14 breedings.
