Offspring 1993 (foals)
This stallion presented a foal collection that was moderately to sufficiently developed. They are riding type foals. The picked group had some foals with short legs. The head is well shaped expressive. The neck has good length and good shape, but is sometimes a little poorly muscled, a least among the picked foals.
The well-developed wither flows well into the back. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is well shaped and the loins are well connected. The croup has enough length, is always well muscled, but is sometimes a little short and sometimes a little flat. The foreleg is correct. On the whole, the hind leg is long and has quite an angle. Once in a while there is a hind leg that does not have enough angle. Overall, the base could have a little more substance.
The walk is big and easy. All shown foals showed a good trot they push off well, use the hind leg well and have a lot of elasticity.
A lot of foals were on the skinny side.
The mares were of average quality.
In short: moderate to sufficiently developed, riding type foals that all trotted with power and suppleness. The hindleg does not have a lot of angle

Performance Ermelo 1991
Balanced, obedient, friendly, honest, attentive, good humor. Had already been ridden quite a bit at the start of the test. He carries himself well, collects well and is easy to ride. He moves his tail a lot. The walk is nice and big and regular. The trot is even and well carried. The canter has good tact and is well carried with sufficient scope. The take-off is moderate, he does not have a lot of scope, he is not careful, does not deliver any great jumping feats, but he does his best. Does not do well in cross-country. He feels good in dressage and moderate in jumping. The work is easy for him. H is very willing to work. He has a lot of talent for dressage and moderate talent for jumping. He was in good condition upon arrival and remained that way. He was quiet in his stall.
