Offspring report
Offspring (1992 (foals)
This stallion presented a collection of well-developed foals. The collection contained tuig type foals; the picked foals ranged from short-coupled to long-lined while the selected examples were most always long-lined and showed even more refinement than the picked foals. The head is a little long, sometimes with a convex profile but always with expression. The neck is long, well formed, well carried and goes into a long poll. The foals have a slight ewe-neck when they are stood up. The wither varies from somewhat short and little developed to well developed and long. The shoulder also varies in length and placement. The back is almost always a little long, sometimes a little hollow. The loin formation is strongly muscled and connects well to the back and croup. The croup is sometimes a little straight (at least for the selected foals) but it is always well muscled and sufficient in length. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is almost always long and sometimes sickle-hocked. The legs have obvious good quality and are hard and lean. The walk is sufficient and shows suppleness. The foals show typical tuig appeal in the trot. The picked foals should show more power from the hindleg and the foreleg has a tendency to be flat, otherwise their posture is beautiful. The foals can come back on the hindquarter, they shows that they can do transitions and they have overwhelming balance. The selected foals contained examples of an exemplary trotting mechanism, in which the very good use of the hindleg with strong use of the hock stood out. The mares were generally good.
Shown: 30 foals out of 143 breedings.

Performance test report
Performance Ermelo 1990 (tied for 4th place)
Attentive, honest, obedient and friendly. He had not been harnessed much at the start of the test. He is very elastic and strong in his work. The walk is big and regular. The trot has much suppleness. He should show more posture during driving. Trying to make him higher in front led to problems. He was fairly restless in front of the show cart. He has a difficult mouth and still has to learn to use his back well. This causes him to have difficulty with the consistency of his performance. The use of aids doesn"t make much difference. He is very willing to work and it is easy for him. He has more than sufficient talent for harness. He was in good condition upon arrival and remained that way. Stall behavior is calm.
During the final exam he received a postponement for the segment of the last day. He did the show cart test with aids on 6/20/1990.
