This Holsteiner stallion showed very sturdy, almost excessively developed foals. The group of picked foals were only of moderate riding type, some were actually less so. The group of selected foals showed a lot more refinement and quality, they were also more than sufficient in the riding type in regards to build. The head is sufficiently expressive, often with a very nice eye. The neck has good length but often comes from deep in the chest. The wither was only moderately developed among the picked foals but was better among the selected foals. The wither-shoulder connection should be smoother. The shoulder has sufficient length but should often have more slope; this is especially true for the picked foals. Back and loin formation are sufficient. Even though among the picked foals it was a little flat, the croup was generally sufficiently formed with sufficient length. The foreleg is generally correct, some are a little straight. Several foals are toed out and this also shows during movement. He hindleg was clearly better among the selected foals than the picked foals, where they were long and sickle-hocked. The picked foals had legs of only moderate quality but the selected foals were better. The walk is sufficient in scope but shows little elasticity in the pastern. The trot varies. Some foals trot with power and cadence, showing a lot of scope and there are those that move with little use of the back and little bend in the hock. In general it was noticed that the foals did not jump into the canter when going fast. The stallion clearly needs mares with Thoroughbred blood.
The veterinary remarks are in regards to hocks and pasterns that can be rather lean.
In short: very sturdy, sometimes excessively developed foals that vary in regards to type. The trot also varies, both in regard to scope and power.

Keur 1995
This stallion received the keur predicate both because of his performance and conformation heritability. With 133 points (and reliability of 85%) he is in second place on the jumping index; for dressage he scores 107 points (with 71% reliability). Burggraaf has one approved son, Habsburg. For conformation heritability the stallion scores high for length and muscling of the neck, long sloping shoulder, long sloping croup and good movement. He also scores high in regards to predicates. Of the 156 studbook mares, 78 became ster and 19 are already keur. During the pre-selection of the 94/95 Stallion Show, 8 of his sons were selected for the second round.
