Offspring report

Offspring report 1987
The shown foals were generally moderately developed. The type lacks the real riding type features, therefore they are barely sufficient riding type foals and several are short-coupled while others had a long mid section. Several foals were high behind. On the whole there was sufficient refinement. The head is plain and the eye should have more expression. The neck varies, sometimes it is short sometimes sufficient in length. The poll should almost always be longer. The wither is generally sufficient in length; a number of foals should have a more pronounced wither. The shoulder is always short and straight. The well-muscled croup is often short. The picked foals also have a flat croup. The hamstring is sufficient in length. The foreleg is sufficiently good in build but should have more expression. The foreleg is straight in the group of picked foals. The hindleg is well built and correct. The walk is short and lacks freedom in the shoulder. The trot is good even though the use of the foreleg is a bit flat. The hindleg is generally well used. Several foals were able to speed up well. The stallion had to do his work with often plain and small mares that did not have a lot of quality. The veterinary findings reported four overbites.
In short: moderately developed, barely sufficient riding type foals that trot with good use of the hindleg.
Shown 15 foals out of 75 breedings.
