Offspring report
Offspring 1987
This stallion showed well-developed, good riding type foals. They should have more refinement and quality. Some foals are a little round through the ribcage and therefore appear a little shallow. The head lacks expression because it is often long and a little coarse with a rather small eye. The neck is mostly of good length, but the topline is poorly muscled. The wither is nice and long and the shoulder is well developed with a correct placement. All in all the back is well muscled and sometimes a little long. The hamstring is long. The loins are well connected. The croup is wide, strongly muscled with good shape. The foreleg is correct with a remarkably well-developed knee; in a few cases the stance was a little straight. The hindleg is generally correct, sometimes with a strong angle. The hocks are strongly developed, sometimes a little coarse. The quality of the legs should be a little better. The walk is good. The trot is good with a lot of tact, nice suspension and good use of the hindleg. Some foals should bring the hindleg under the body more. It looks that this stallion can give a more refined base to mares that have a heavier base.
In short: well developed, riding type foals that could have more refinement and quality but that trot well and have a well-built base.
Shown: 14 foals out of 48 breedings.

Performance test report
Performance 1985
Friendly, honest with good humor. He is impudent and he resists from time to time. He likes to look around. He was rather green at the beginning of the test. He held himself through the topline in the first arena test, this improved later and he became more elastic. He has a lot of balance, tact and regularity. He is nice to ride but sometimes rolls himself up a little. The walk is powerful. He has good regularity in the trot but he should use his back better. He has a good, powerful canter. Jumping under saddle improved a great deal during the test. His performance was very moderate at first but he showed good jumps later on. He showed good scope during the free jumping but he should use his neck more. He held himself back on and off during the cross-country and was uncooperative. His actual cross-country performance was generally good. He has more than sufficient willingness to work. He enjoys the work and it is easy for him. He has very little talent for dressage, rather a lot of talent for cross-country and more than sufficient talent for jumping. He was in good condition upon his arrival and remained so during the test. He got more feed than normal. Good stall behavior.
On 5/15 he was stiff throughout his entire body and sensitive in the throat, he resumed normal work after treatment.
