Offspring report
Offspring 1986 (foals)
Zeoliet"s foals were generously developed. In general the foals have more than sufficient type, though the picked foals were less typey than the selected ones. The selected foals also had more refinement and quality, while the picked foals had a sturdier foundation. The head is generally a little long and in order to be expressive the eye should be bigger. The neck is good through the topline but often a little deep from the chest, but it is carried well while moving. The wither is sufficiently long. The group of picked foals should have a longer shoulder; that of the selected foals was good though there could often be more slope. The back is often a little deep and the loins a little pressed but the topline is well muscled. The croup has good shape and muscling and is sufficiently long. The foreleg is often a little tied-in but does have a generous and developed knee. The stance of the foreleg is generally also good. The hindleg is long and angled but has a good wide gaskin and a well formed, long, wide hock. The walk is good with sufficient scope and impulsion. Though it varies a little, the total collection has more than sufficient movement. In a number of cases the hindleg should be brought underneath a little more and a few times it would be nice to have more scope. However, there were also foals with excellent movement that showed much balance, scope and regularity. All foals were attractive and liked to show off.
In short: generously developed, more than sufficient type foals with a well-developed foundation. Their movement ranges from more than sufficient to good.
Shown: 53 foals out of 250 breedings.
Offspring 1989 (3-yr olds)
Zeoliet will remain approved on the basis of his 3-year old offspring evaluation.
Term of approval 1993
The stallion Zeoliet will be approved for a term of 3 years. Because of the positive influence that Zeoliet seems to have on the breeding program it was decided to approve the stallion for a term of 3 years. His latest index scores leave him with a score of 127 (84%) for jumping and an amazing 160 (77%) for dressage.
Keur 1994
The stallion set himself apart in a positive manner during the performance test, later it did not go so well in the stallion competition. The stallion was much criticized and was and many touted him as the example of a faulty system in which young stallions are not limited in breeding. Through his breeding result the stallion put the criticism about him to rest. He is on the positive side of the index for both dressage and jumping and his high dressage score is very outstanding. His first offspring are starting to compete at international level in both dressage and jumping. He also does well on the conformation index. Of the 157 studbook mares 62 have received the ster predicate up to now and of those 23 have already gotten their keur. Of his sons, Elcaro serves the breeding program.
Term of approval 1998
Zeoliet is again approved for 3 years.
Offspring 1998
Zeoliet is permanently approved on the basis of his 11-year old offspring.

Performance Ermelo 1984
Cheerful, impertinent, friendly, honest, attentive and playful with good humor. He was still green at the start of the test. He has much power, which is expressed in all his movements. He is fun to ride. The walk is elegant, easy and big. The trot is easy, and big with much tact. The canter is very powerful and very big. He does not pay much attention to free jumping but has much scope. He performs well in jumping under saddle, jumping is easy for him. In cross-country he gains much ground because of his big canter, he is not economical over the jumps. He is good in front of the sled. He is very willing to work and finds it easy. He is enthusiastic and enjoys his work.
