Offspring report
Offspring (German), 1992:
The committee viewed ten offspring of various ages, ranging from yearlings to a 7-year-old son. Findings are as follows: well-developed horses with good type. The head varies from attractive and noble to coarse and less noble. Without exception, the neck has good shape and length, and is carried well. The shoulder has good placement and length. The wither varies in development and length. In general, the back is good and ties into a strong loin. The croup generally has good shape but needs more length. In two cases, the front leg needs to be stronger. Without exception, the hind leg is correct with a well-developed hock. The hooves should be bigger. The walk is good, and the trot is big with a strong hind leg.
Offspring (foals) 1993:
This German stallion is approved to sire 50 foals in the Netherlands. The stallion successfully competes in international Grand Prix dressage. He showed a collection of well-developed foals with riding-type conformation, abundant nobility, and solid legs. The head is slightly long but has abundant expression and an attractive eye. The neck has good shape, length, and placement. The wither is sufficiently developed and has good length. The shoulder also has good length but sometimes needs more slope. The back has excellent shape and muscling; the loin is also well muscled and broad. The croup has good shape, width, and muscling. The front leg has good conformation. The hind leg often has little angle. The legs are of sufficient quality. The walk is big and powerful. The trot is big, powerful, and rhythmic with good balance, self-carriage, and a very good hind leg. In addition, the movement flows through the entire body. Two foals inspected at their home location were difficult to evaluate due to illness. The stallion has bred mares of exceptionally high quality, several of which have competed in the National Mare Show.
Short summary:
Well-developed, riding-type foals with abundant nobility and a big, strong, rhythmic trot with excellent balance and self-carriage. Foals shown: 17 out of 51 breedings.
