Offspring 1980 (foals)
The stallion Recruut (champion of his performance test) showed that he can improve on himself. The foals (often out of plain mares) have a big walk. The trot is good and several foals have a very good and scopey trot. The shoulder could sometimes have more slope and development. Time could still bring the latter. On the whole the legs are correct, especially the hindleg. The connections in the topline should be even stronger. The sufficiently muscled croup has desired length but should slope a little more. The neck is poorly muscled in a few cases and should also have little different shape. The development is good. The type leaves little to be desired. The hindleg is correct. The quality of the legs is good.

He was exported to Switzerland as a jumper prior to the 1983 breeding season. In the fall of 1983 he was approved for breeding in Switzerland, his name was changed to Sansiero.

Performance Ermelo 1978
He works well. He really wants to learn and learns quickly. He is very willing to work and likes to do so. He is attentive and not quickly diverted. He has relaxed, big and still somewhat uncontrolled movement. He still has trouble going in a normal track. The walk is big, the trot and canter are very good. He has a lot of technique and suppleness in jumping. He has a very good gallop with good technique in the cross-country. He behaves well in harness. He finds the work easy. He has very much talent for jumping and cross-country, he has more than sufficient talent for dressage.
He has two loose teeth and a loose piece of jawbone on the lower left.
