In 1943, the original Holsteiner line 2825 was erroneously noted as line 242 and from that time on has been known by that number.
Pedigree information 2001
From Holsteiner line 242, which is known to us because of jumper sires Ahorn and Joost, comes this Cash son who leaves the ground like a flash and who finishes the jump well. Cash, the sire of Rash-R, was an international jumper. He is a Cor de la Bryère out of Landgräfin, the full sister of Landgraf I. Landgräfin also had her own international sport career.
Dam Zarah is a daughter of Rebel I-Z, the first of the Rebel brothers, in keeping with to the proven recipe of G Ramiro-Z x H Almé. Rebel is a full brother of the wondrous mare Ratina-Z. Zarah"s dam carries the blood of Maximus (s Manometer xx) and G Ramiro-Z through Mephisto. With Landgraf I in the background the concept of line breeding is complete.
Zarah produced the international jumper Laurin Holstein (s Laurin) and a son of Cor d" Almé who received licensed status with the NA/WPN in 2001. This past season he was one of the jumping aces in the American world cup circuit. (Laurin Holstein: born 1989, 01-1992 KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch 1st ring, 12/19/1992 approved NRPS (re) keuring, NRA 93023-89 Stb, owner Stal Roelofs, exported to USA summer 1995.
Great grandmother Hellebarde produced the stallion Roderik (s Renomee) 21.01098.85 Holst (from 1992 Roderik 856 ASVH).
The stallions Chicago (s Cantus), Locarno (s Ladykiller xx) Cronick (s Contender) and Cosimo (s Contender) also come from the direct line.
Type 2001
Rash-R is a well-developed riding type stallion that stands in good rectangular model. The jaw is a little heavy. The neck is set on low. The wither is well developed. The loins are a little long and sufficiently connected. The croup should be even a little longer. The leg is a little under in front. The base has quality. The heels are low.
