Performance report

Offspring report

Offspring 1997
The foals are barely sufficient to sufficiently developed and are in sufficient rectangular model. They appear a little plain and lack reach. They should show more suppleness in movement.
The head is expressive. The foals have little poll. The neck is short and a little deep from the chest. The wither has sufficient length but should be better defined. The shoulder is rather straight and has sufficient length. The back/loin formation has sufficient length and muscling. The croup is short and rather straight. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is a bit tight and has straight pasterns. The knee is well developed. The stance of the hindleg is generally correct, sometimes a little straight with small angle.
The walk is stiff and short. The trot has sufficient scope. The foreleg bends sufficiently but the hindleg should bend more and does not carry sufficiently. Some of the foals are high in the croup. Most of the foals have difficulty jumping into the canter and are a little on the forehand. Some of the foals show good impulsion in the canter.
One of the picked foals could not be inspected because he was exported. Another picked foal still needs to be inspected at home. The quality of the mares was average.
Shown: 10 (+1) foals out of 14 breedings.

Performance 1997 (short test, 21 days)
Honest, impudent, and playful. He has a lot of temperament. He can be difficult while the rider is mounting. He is more than sufficiently willing to work and works sufficiently. The walk and trot are limited in scope and should have more suppleness. The canter is powerful and sufficient in scope. He jumps quickly from the ground with more than sufficient ability. He is careful and jumps with a somewhat long foreleg. He finishes the jump well from behind. He hurries a little during the last canter stride before the jump. Stall behavior is normal.
