Offspring report

Offspring 2000 (foals)
The stallion Biotop showed a uniform collection of more than sufficiently to very well developed riding type foals in good rectangular model that have a lot of appeal.
The head is generally expressive. The poll is long and shaped well. The neck is long, well formed and generally well muscled. The wither is long and sufficiently developed. The shoulder has good length and sufficient placement. The back has good length and muscling. In a few cases the back is hollow. The loins have good length, are well connected and well muscled. The croup is long, sloping and well muscled. The hamstring has barely sufficient length. The foreleg is correct. In a few cases the pastern is long and weak. The hindleg is generally angled. The base is generally well developed and has quality. The walk is moderate to sufficiently pure and has sufficient scope. The trot has much scope and suppleness. The foals have much bend in the hindleg and show sufficient posture but should be able to do transitions better. The foals should be able to jump into the canter more easily. The canter is big. The foreleg remains tight.
Veterinary remarks: One time a deviating hock was observed in a foal and it should have been better finished in another foal.
The quality of the mares was more than sufficient.
Shown: 10 foals out of 22 breedings.
