Afstammelingen 2006 (veulens)
Van Up to Date werd een uniforme collectie ruim voldoende ontwikkelde, rijtypische veulens die hoogbenig zijn getoond. De veulens staan goed in het rechthoeksmodel.
Het hoofd is sprekend. De nek is goed van lengte. De hals is goed van lengte en vorm. De schoft is voldoende van lengte en ontwikkeling. De schouder is voldoende van lengte en ligging. De rug is goed van lengte, een enkele maal gezonken. De lendenen zijn voldoende van bespiering. De croupe is goed van ligging, maar kort. De staartinplant is meermalen hoog. De broekspier zou langer moeten doorlopen. Het voorbeen is goed van lengte, is meermalen ingesnoerd en teer. Het achterbeen is lang. Het fundament is correct en goed van kwaliteit.
De stap is ruim voldoende van ruimte en souplesse. De draf is wisselend. Een aantal veulens draaft met een goede houding, beentechniek en kracht. Enkele veulens komen hierin te kort. De veulens willen moeilijk aangalopperen. De galop is ruim voldoende van ruimte en souplesse.
Kort samengevat: Uniforme collectie ruim voldoende ontwikkelde, rijtypische veulens die hoogbenig zijn en goed in het rechthoeksmodel staan. In beweging is de collectie wisselend van kwaliteit. Naast verschillende opvallend goed bewegende veulens zou een aantal veulens met meer kracht en achterbeengebruik moeten bewegen.
De collectie bestond uit 17 door het KWPN aangewezen en één door de eigenaar geselecteerd veulen. Twee door het KWPN aangewezen veulens waren afwezig. Deze veulens zijn thuis en elders geïnspecteerd en passen in het beeld van de rapportage. Eén veulen dat niet fit was, is alleen op stand gezien. Het door de eigenaar geselecteerde veulen wijkt in positieve zin af van de rapportage.
De veulens werden gepresenteerd op een zandbodem.
De kwaliteit van de moeders was matig.
Getoond: 16 (+2) veulens uit 84 in 2005 gedekte merries.

Up to Date is a more than sufficiently developed, riding type stallion that stands in very good rectangular model. The stallion has a well-developed, nicely shaped forehand. The hindleg is a little behind the body. The base is correct.
Pedigree information
The young keur mare Rococo performed, like many other horses from the Martien Liefhebber stable, a very good test with an average of 8 for the jumping components and for the canter. Her dam is a full sister to national jumper Kabinett, who in turn is the dam of the national jumper Patent, an offspring of Colino, who died at an early age.
Sire Camerino is a product of the two most influential foundation sires of the Holsteiner breeding program: Cor de la Bryère and Landgraf I.
Performance
Up to Date is an honest, trustworthy, playful stallion with a good attitude. He is very willing to work and he works more than sufficiently.
The walk is pure and has sufficient scope. The trot has moderate scope, is sufficiently active and should show more tact and suppleness. The canter has more than sufficient scope, with suppleness and balance. Up to Date has a light-footed canter with good changes. He has moderate talent for dressage and gives his rider a sufficient feeling.
Up to Date jumps with a good take-off and leaves the ground quickly. He jumps with a good foreleg, is controlled and jumps with the wither nice and high. He bascules well and has good use of the body. The stallion finishes the jump well behind. He seems very careful and shows much to very much scope. Up to Date shows much to very much talent for jumping and gives his rider a very good feeling.
Stall behavior: Honest, trustworthy, somewhat bold stallion that is nice to work with and easy to handle.
