Afstammelingen 2005 (september; veulens)
Uphill liet een uniforme groep goed ontwikkelde, hoogbenige en rijtypisch gebouwde veulens zien.
Het hoofd is sprekend. De nek is wisselend van lengte. De hals is lang en verticaal gesteld. De schouder is goed van lengte en ligging. De rug is een enkele maal gezonken. De lendenpartij is sterk bespierd en goed aangesloten. De croupe varieert van hellend tot recht en is goed van lengte. Het voorbeen is correct gesteld. Het achterbeen is overwegend correct gesteld, een enkele keer lang.
De stap is zuiver en voldoende van ruimte. De draf is ruim en wordt getoond met veel front. Het achterbeen wordt actief gebogen maar zou enkele malen meer tot dragen moeten komen. De galop is ruim maar zou meer souplesse moeten hebben.
Kort samengevat: Goed ontwikkelde hoogbenige veulens die rijtypisch gebouwd zijn. De croupe varieert van hellend naar recht. De veulens bewegen makkelijk, met ruimte en ze maken front. Het achterbeen wordt actief gebogen, maar zou enkele malen meer tot dragen moeten komen.
Uphill lijkt geschikt voor merries die uitstraling missen en waarvan de hals te horizontaal is aangezet. In beweging kan de hengst zelfhouding toevoegen.
De collectie bestond uit negen door het KWPN aangewezen en twee door de eigenaar geselecteerde veulens. Eén door het KWPN aangewezen veulen is net voor de beoordeling gestorven. Hiervoor is een ander veulen aangewezen en thuis geïnspecteerd. Dit veulen past in het beeld van de rapportage. De door de eigenaar geselecteerde veulens passen in het beeld van de rapportage.
De veulens werden gepresenteerd op een zandbodem.
De moeders waren royaal ontwikkelde merries.
Getoond: 11 (+1) veulens uit 41 in 2004 gedekte merries.

Conformation description 2004 (15-03 t/m 21-05)
Uphill is a more than sufficiently developed, riding type stallion that should be more rectangular. The neck has sufficient length, good position and comes from deep in the chest. The croup is very sloping. The hindleg is sickle hocked, the heels are low.
Pedigree information
Sire Oscar presented a notable foal collection and out of his first foal crop two sons were selected for the performance test. Oscar himself, just like his half brother Kimberly, comes from the Rania line.
Dam Naomi Ceroon (star) is a well moving mare that caries a lot of blood. One full brother is Z-dressage and her mare line has produced multiple dressage horses at Z-level. She has produced 4 offspring (2 colts and 2 fillies).
Grandmother Cerona (star) produced the Z1-dressage horse Medock (s Apollonios xx). Cerona is grandmother to the ZZL-dressage horse Navado (s Cabochon).
Great grandmother Petra (keur preferent prestatie) produced the Z1-dressage horses Baron (s Holypark What"s Wanted), Herona (s Master) and Irona (s Zep). Petra is grandmother to the Z2-dressage horse Nelson (s Cabochon) and the Z-jumper Kolonel (s Ulster).
Performance
Uphill is an energetic, reliable stallion. The stallion has much willingness to work and works more than sufficiently.
The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot has good scope, good impulsion and this stallion shows more than sufficient suppleness and self-carriage. The canter is big and has more than sufficient impulsion. The stallion shows more than sufficient balance but should be better at changes. Uphill has more than sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.
Uphill jumps with moderate take-off and he jumps forward. He bends the foreleg under the body and gives, lifts the neck and does not bascule sufficiently. The stallion is stiff behind and shows moderate scope. He does not seem very careful. Uphill has insufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider an insufficient feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.
