Getoond 4 veulens uit 15 in 2005 gedekte merries. Omdat er geen 10 veulens zijn geregistreerd zal volgend jaar de collectie worden aangevuld. Daarna wordt het rapport opgesteld.

Op verzoek eigenaren wordt de collectie van 2006 niet aangevuld en vindt veulenbeoordeling niet plaats.

Conformation description 2005 (14-03 t/m 01-04)
Balourado is a generously developed, sufficient riding type stallion. The head could be more noble. The neck is horizontal. The stallion has a short, straight and high croup and the tail is set on high. The stance of the foreleg is correct. The hindleg is long, sickle hocked and behind the body. The bone of the legs shows more than sufficient quality.

Balourado has interesting bloodlines including international jumpers Baloubet du Rouet (s Galoubet A) and Corrado I (s Cor de la Bryère) who follow one another.
The dam L-Coradin is a full sister to the ZfDP approved stallion Corraldo. Besides Corraldo grandmother Prinzessin also produced Z jumper Otto (s Burggraaf). The dam line goes back to the Fasolt daughter Komtessin through Ronald (s G Ramiro-Z). She is also the dam of approved stallions Hauptlord (s Lord) and Calimero I (s Calypso II).
Performance
Balourado is an honest, trustworthy stallion with a good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and works more than sufficiently.
The walk is pure, has sufficient scope with a hindleg that comes underneath moderately. The trot has moderate scope, moderate tact and shows moderate suppleness. The stallion has moderate self-carriage at the trot. The canter is sufficient in scope and moderate in power. Balourado shows little self-carriage in his basic gaits and shows flat movement. Balourado has insufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider an insufficient to moderate feeling.
Balourado leaves the ground with a lot of power, he has a high wither, bascules well and opens the hindquarter more than sufficiently. The stallion often jumps with an open foreleg. He seems careful and shows very much scope. Balourado has much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
In his stall the stallion appears to be honest and trustworthy. He is nice to work with and is easy to handle.
