Tango is a well-shaped, long-legged, long-lined stallion with a good topline and much stallion expression. The shoulder has good position. The hindleg has a strong angle, the pastern is straight and the shape of the hoof is narrow.
Pedigree information
His good model and good character support Tango"s interesting pedigree. The keur and Grand Prix stallion Jazz passed on much dressage potential to Tango. Dam O Bertje got her keur this past winter after finishing an excellent test with high scores for dressage. The well thought of Grand Prix stallion Contango made a positive contribution. He earned his keur on the basis of the excellent performance of his offspring in sport. Amor adds movement and hardness. Great grandmother Natasja is from the well-known Avondrood line. Cordola is the grandmother of Z1-dressage horse Narvik (s Houston).
Natasja produced the Z1-dressage horse Drost (s Purioso); she is the grandmother of the Z2-dressage horse McCoy O"Hara (s Investment) and of the ZZ-jumpers Galuut (s Saluut and Kwibus (s Orthos); she is the great grandmother of the Z-jumper Laika (s Voltaire).
Performance
Tango is a stallion with a steady, reliable character. The stallion has much willingness to work and works more than sufficiently.
The walk is pure, has sufficient power but should have more scope and more suppleness. The trot is big with much impulsion and has good balance and tact. The stallion shows good self-carriage. The canter has sufficient scope and impulsion but should have more bend in the joints and suppleness. The stallion has more than sufficient to much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling. The stallion jumps with sufficient take-off but should use his body better. The technique of the foreleg is sufficient. The stallion shows insufficient bascule and holds himself behind. The scope is limited.
