Performance test report
Tornesch was born in 2000 at the stables of Mrs A. Noordhof-Nieborg in Kropswolde. The brown stallion is a son of Lux, a successful Grand Prix show jumper under Jerry Smith, but also a successful show jumping progenitor. The dam line regularly shows Lux among multiple successful show jumpers as well. Dam Ninerta is a ster daughter of Word Cup-winner Libero H, father of countless Grand Prix show jumpers. Granddam Inerta was a ster mare out of Caletto I (s.Cor de la Bryère), imported from Holstein. The dam line continues with a daughter of the Thoroughbred Marlon xx and a classically bred daughter of Heimold. Tornesch is 1.65m/ 16.2 hands high. The second inspection- stallion Tornesch left for Sweden at a young age, and was also used to stand at stud there. Swedish style rider Malin Baryard-Johnsson competes Tornesch with success. The most outstanding results are the Nations Cup- victories in Barcelona and Falsterbo, as well as a second place in the Grand Prix at Falsterbo. Besides this, the pair achieved outstanding results in Vigo, London and Paris. During the European Championships and World Cup Final of 2011, the combination Tornesch/Baryard showed great results as well. Tornesch has a jumping index of 136 with 54% reliability. Tornesch meets all the radiological standards set by the KWPN.
